Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or accessing FinWallet Pro (the "Application", "Service", or "Software"), provided under Application Identifier com.finwallet.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.

2. Non-Advisory Financial Disclaimer

FinWallet Pro is a self-directed personal budgeting, organization, and record-keeping tool. The Software is NOT a bank, credit union, broker, investment adviser, or tax professional. The information, foreign exchange calculations, projections, and reports generated by the Application are provided for organizational and informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying your financial figures, tax liabilities, and debt records.

3. Local Data Storage and Backups

Because FinWallet Pro employs an offline-first architecture, your transaction records are maintained locally on your device. You acknowledge that:

  • If you do not utilize optional Cloud Sync, you are responsible for maintaining manual JSON/CSV backups via the export feature in Settings.
  • Forgetting your Master PIN or biometric credentials without having a backup may result in irreversible data loss, as encryption keys are not stored or recoverable by FinWallet Pro operators.
  • The Decoy Vault PIN mode is designed for user safety and privacy under duress. Any synthetic transactions entered while in Decoy Mode remain segregated and will not alter your real ledger.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

FinWallet Pro provides optional Pro tiers (Weekly, Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime Founder Pass):

  • Billing: Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or Apple App Store are billed by Google or Apple respectively.
  • Renewal & Cancellation: Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active billing cycle through your Google Play Account or Apple ID settings.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are governed by Google Play and Apple App Store refund policies.

5. Intellectual Property and Open Source Attribution

The FinWallet Pro brand, logo, user interface designs, and proprietary multi-platform implementations are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Third-party open-source components used by the Application are distributed under their respective licenses (e.g., Apache 2.0, MIT) as detailed in the official application Notice documentation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FinWallet Pro or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, or currency exchange inaccuracies resulting from your use of the Application.

7. Governing Law and Updates

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published at https://finwallet.app/terms. Your continued use of the Application following any modification signifies acceptance of the amended Terms.
